On the earth, Anthropogenic deposits are growing large at an accelerating rate. They provide a major place of human activities. The history of research on the deposits are short compared with that of research on natural strata. It has just started. Anthropogenic deposits are very often involved in geological hazards. It is true that this trend is accelerating on the earth. Particularly, the Jinji unconformity, which is the boundary discontinuity between natural strata and Anthropogenic deposits in coastal, hilly and mountainous areas, is the source of geological hazards.In addition, as human’s science and technology advances, the synthesis and use of hazardous chemicals is accelerating. Some of them are spreading on the earth. War is one example of it. Geological pollution by these hazardous substances and those that have been dumped on the earth is growing at an accelerating rate.
For children of the future earth, we all, who live in the present time, have to seek to prevent geological hazards associated with Anthropogenic deposits.
